Armageddon

Client: Fox and Lion Digital
Responsibilities: Generating all dynamic animation
Software: 3ds Max, TyFlow, Phoenix, V-Ray, After Effects

Process: Here I started with a surfaced and lit 3d scene. TyFlow was used to dynamically destroy the building with PhysX and Phoenix was used to simulate fire and smoke that was emitted from various tyCache elements of the building destruction. Distant explosions were also created in Phoenix. Lastly, TyFlow was used to create the floating ash in the scene. Rendered in 3ds Max and V-Ray. Comped in After Effects.
